Albury Wodonga Maternity and Newborn Photography: Bump to Babe Story
From Bump to Babe: Emma, Wil, Luca & Leni
Emma applied for a model call while pregnant with their second baby, Leni—and it ended up being the perfect example of a bump to babe story.
We started with a maternity photography session outdoors at sunset here in the Albury Wodonga region. These sessions are relaxed and gently guided, with a focus on connection rather than posing. Luca brought plenty of personality (as little boys do!) and we just worked around him, keeping things easy and flexible.
Maternity sessions take place outdoors across Albury Wodonga, making the most of natural light and open space. I’ll guide you where needed, but there’s no pressure to “perform,” it’s more about letting things unfold naturally, especially when little ones are involved.
A few weeks later, they came into my Albury studio for their newborn photography session with their new little love: Leni.
Studio newborn photography is slower, calmer, and a bit more contained. My studio is a warm, light-filled space where you can take your time and settle in. We kept everything simple and baby-led, giving Luca space to step into his new role as big brother in his own time (with plenty of breaks as needed).
This is exactly what my bump to babe package is designed for. It brings both your maternity and newborn photography sessions together, so your story feels complete from the start.
What started as a model call turned into such a nice example of how these sessions flow: from pregnancy through to those early newborn days.
If you’re based in Albury Wodonga and considering maternity and newborn photography, this package is designed to keep things simple, relaxed, and really easy from start to finish.

Most people book their maternity photography session between 30–34 weeks, when your bump is nicely visible but you’re still feeling comfortable.on text goes here

It’s best to book while you’re still pregnant so we can plan ahead. Sessions usually happen within the first few weeks after birth, with flexibility if needed.
-
I have two options for maternity sessions: mini studio sessions, held on a Sunday morning, or outdoors around Albury Wodonga. Newborn sessions take place in my natural light studio in Albury, or at home, if you’d prefer!
